What is DPM barcode?

• DPM is the abbreviation of Direct Park Marking, which is a technology for printing/engraving barcodes directly onto goods instead of printing on labels as usual. Barcodes printed/engraving directly onto goods will be highly durable, not damaged or torn.

What types of goods are DPM barcodes used for?

• Instead of printing conventional barcode labels, engraving barcodes directly onto goods will cost much more and with goods made of sturdy materials such as metal, plastic, glass, etc., it will not affect the durability of the product. DPM is also used for a part of the goods, such as auto parts, electronic components in the electronics industry, etc.

Common methods for generating DPM barcodes:

• The most common direct DPM barcode production methods are laser barcode marking, continuous inkjet printing, Dot peen, and electrochemical etching.
